Arman Khalighi
Mechanical Engineering Discipline Leader at Stantec
I simply love to teach how to design HVAC systems. I realized this when I was helping junior engineers with HVAC design tasks in a large project.
I am a Mechanical Engineering Discipline Leader at Stantec, one of the top 10 global engineering design firms. I am a registered Professional Mechanical Engineering (PE) in multiple states in the US, and I design HVAC systems for domestic and international projects.
I have designed HVAC systems for landmark projects such as Disneyland Park, Snowy 2.0 Hydro Power Station, and Intel Chip Manufacturing Facility.
I am also a member of three Technical Committees at ASHRAE. My main responsibility is to review technical research papers for publication in ASHRAE journals and conferences.
HVAC engineering is my favorite field because I work on interesting projects every day and I get to interact with amazing people.
